Updating our look and looking to the future!

We've been worshipping and ministering from the corner of 12th and Green since 1938. As we look to the future and pay attention to how we serve the Lord, we’ve decided it was time to update our look and renew our focus. After working with the elders, surveying the congregation, and spending much time in prayer, we have created a new look for our logo and developed new messaging to help share our mission with our community.

Building Community at the Corner of Faith and Love

tells us to do good to all, but especially to those of the house of faith. Therefore, we are committed to supporting each other, teaching each other, and worshiping together. However, Matthew 29:19 commands us to go into all the world to make disciples of all nations. Our community is our mission field, and we desire to make a positive impact through our service and commitment to living a loving, Christian life. John 13:35-35 instructs us to love as Jesus loved us so that “people will know you are my disciples if you have love for one another.”

Our mission at Henderson Church of Christ is to build community at the corner of faith and love. We define our community as two important parts: our community of believers who meet at the corner of 12th and Green, and the community in which we live, work, and serve. Galatians 6:10

What does this mean to our congregation?

Hear a few words from David Arthur and Kate Pride about the brand and mission update. They worked with our minister, David Salisbury, to develop this new look, feel, and message.

  • We're excited for our renewed vision in our mission of serving God and loving our community.

  • We're excited about the new updates to our building as we expand our lobby area, classroom area, and basement to allow more space to fellowship with each other.

  • We are taking advantage of more opportunities to grow the community inside out congregation and impact the communities we live, work, and worship in.

  • We're helping each other learn about, worship, and serve our creator. We cannot build our community withough growing in our Faith.

  • We're continuing to pray for and listen to the direction God is leading us in the future of our congregation, our personal lives, and our ministries.
