Henderson Children’s Ministry

Who are we?

We believe that children of all ages should know the love of God. While the Youth Group is focused on 6th-12th grade, our Children’s Ministry is focused on newborns-5th grade.

We strive to teach the kids at this age that Jesus loves them, that God is a loving God, and that church is the best place to learn about Him! We provide activities, lessons, and a safe environment for them to have fun, spend time with each other, and learn about the God who loves and knows each and every one of them!

Meet the Youth Minister

Josh has important degrees in dragon slaying and in Ministry. He and his wife Emilie love to live on the edge by reading books, going on walks, wearing cool socks, and going to bed at 10. However, the most dangerous journey they have ever undertaken is… working with teenagers! We have received reports that they are loving it.

HCM Activities

Bible Classes

We offer bible classes for kids of all ages on Sunday Morning and Wednesday Nights.
Kingdom Kids

During our Summer Series for the adult classes on Wednesday Nights, the children’s classes all meet together for a fun time of learning!
Vacation Bible School

We host a VBS every year! See our calendar to sign up!
Devotionals

4th & 5th grade devotionals are hosted by members of the congregation once a month on Sunday Nights after evening worship. We play games, eat dinner, and have a short devotional activity!
Group Outings

Some days we just get together for fun. Events are hosted at the building, or we will meet as a group for a field trip!
