What is MOMCo?

The MomCo mission is to gather and support moms. We believe in the simple but revolutionary idea that remarkable things happen when moms come together. MOPS, or “Mothers of Preschoolers,” began in 1973 when a group of moms with young children banded together to share their lives and parenting journeys. Over the past 45 years, MOPS has expanded to include ALL moms. Thereby, the MomCo was born.

Our rally cry is to raise moms to new heights, arm in arm, side-by-side. Here at The MomCo by MOPS International, we are on a mission to call moms to elevate themselves and motherhood and ultimately help them find freedom in Jesus.

We couldn’t be happier that you’ve found us on this crazy beautiful journey called motherhood. The Henderson Church of Christ was excited to begin hosting a MomCo group in September of 2023. We hope to be an asset to mothers in our congregation and our community. Every mama nurtures and parents her kiddos differently, and it’s in those differences that we learn from each other. We are better together!

When We Meet

We meet the 2nd Thursday of the month from 6-8 pm. Our first meeting for the year is scheduled for September 12, 2024. We will meet upstairs at the Henderson Public Library. Please contact us for specific schedule info!

What to Expect

A MomCo meeting includes practical teaching through speakers, demonstrations and videos. Plus, there's usually food... food you didn't make! But more importantly, you'll get to have honest conversations with other moms who understand the joys and frustrations of motherhood.

Who Can Come

Here at MomCo, we gather and support moms. We believe in the simple but revolutionary idea that remarkable things happen when moms come together. Our group welcomes all moms of newborns through 5th grade! We currently do not provide childcare for our meetings.

    Emilie and her husband Josh lead the youth and children’s ministry programs at Henderson Church of Christ. Emilie and Josh are the proud parents of one cute baby!

    Julie and her husband Matt are the parents of one spunky little girl and a toddling little boy!

    Elaine and her husband David are the parents of two rambunctious boys!

    Heather and her husband David have twin high school students and a college student.

    Kelsey and her husband Degni are the parents of two beautiful girls!
