David Salisbury

I came to work in Henderson as the pulpit minister in July of 2013. Before that, I lived and worked in Tennessee and had been preaching for 18 years. I love learning truth from God’s Word and sharing it with others. I think the Bible is a practical book that is full of wisdom and I continue to be amazed at all the things there are to learn in the pages of God’s Word about life and faith. I love the church and I think it is the most wonderful job in the world to work with God’s people and share the gospel with our community.

My greatest passion, however, is for my wife and children. Heather and I met in college and she is the best partner in ministry and in life that I could ever ask for. We have three children, Abby, Darby and Will and I love them dearly and learn form them daily.

When I am not spending time with my family or my church family, I enjoy watching a good football game or doing some woodwork in my shop. Heather loves to read and work on craft projects in the small amount of spare time she has.

We are excited to be serving the church in Henderson and we enjoy being an active part of our community as we work to make a difference here.
